Sorry I haven't been around much lately. The break line in the car went on me as I was driving (luckily, I managed to stop without hitting anything or anyone), so I was panicked and went car shopping. The old car's an 11y/o Buick. So now, I'm the proud owner of a '09 Mazda 3!

About 3 weeks ago I got accepted to go on a FAM with Royal Irish Tours. So I leave tomorrow (Friday) to go to Ireland! This past week has been crazy - trying to make sure the clothes I want to bring is clean, make sure I have a big enough purse, cleaning some of my camera equipment, etc.

Some of the places I'm going to: Dublin, Cork, Killarney, Killkenny, Waterford and Shannon. First night there I get to go to some pub and watch a Cabaret show, and my last night I'm having a Medieval banquet in a 15th century castle! Possibly kiss the Blarney Stone (Yes.. the gift of gab to a Gemini... might not be the best idea! haha)

Needless to say, I'm VERY excited.


What's a FAM? FAM is short for familiarization trip. A trip that is specially organized for travel agents and a much better price. While this trip is almost identical to their Kerry Royal tour, they have added a few extra things for us and it will be only travel agents going. In terms of a much better price, according to their brochure, the land only is $1449 plus an easy $800 for the flight. For us, it was only $865 total.
